In an effort to keep Transylvania part of Romania, Ciprian of Romania joined Andrea of Hungary in the Axis Powers which led to the two of them freezing alongside Abelard of Germany in the Soviet Union during Operation Barbarossa and they all now share a marking on their skins from the hypothermia.
