Tsarevich Alexei
Tsarevich Alexei, the last child of Tsar Nicholas II and his wife Alexandra and the only boy, was plagued with the bleeding disease hemophilia which prevented his blood from clotting. He inherited from his mother who was a carrier of the disease as was her grandmother the British monarch, Queen Victoria. His poorly condition encouraged his mother to keep in contact with the Russian mystic Grigory Rasputin. Inf act, you can thank Alexei for posthumously solving his sister Anastasia's mystery. When his remains along with those of his sister Maria were found and identified, the theory that Anastasia was sadly debunked and that she along with Alexei died with their family in July 1918.
