Adolf Hitler
A failed aspiring artist, Adolf Hitler's troubles started following his arrest after the failure of the Munich Putsch where in prison he wrote his book Mein Kampf. The book detailed his ideas for a master race (which is own features did not match the description of such), his hatred for Jews and that all German speaking countries should be amalgamated under one leader with an expansion into Eastern Europe known as Lebensraum.
Upon becoming Chancellor of Germany (German prime minister) in 1933, Hitler blamed communists for the Reichstag fire, banned trade unions and set up organisations like the SS, Gestapo, Luftwaffe, Hitler Youth and League of German Maidens. His five steps to war including annexing the Rhineland, Austria (his birthplace), Czechoslovakia) after invading the Sudetenland) and Poland with support from rallies he held every year until 1939.
During World War 2, Hitler with the help of Mussolini managed to annex most of Europe but his failure to invade Britain and the Soviet Union was ultimately his downfall. As the Soviets moved into war torn Berlin in war torn Germany, he married his love Eva Braum before killing themselves hours later on 30 April 1945. Both of their bodies were cremated but thanks to dental records, we know for certain that he died and never escaped to South America.
