Alexander Hamilton

Alexander Hamilton was born an illegitimate as his father did not acknowledge him as his son. He was born on what is now St Kitts and Nevis. He was left an orphan after his mother died of disease and his cousin died by his own hand. To make matters worse, a hurricane devastated the island but after this, he moved to America, became a founding father and ended up saving the newly independent United States from post war debt. He married Elizabeth "Eliza" Schuyler, a woman of Dutch descent through her dad and had children with her. Despite being gunned down in a duel against Aaron Burr, Alexander Hamilton found on the US$10 bill. Thanks to the musical Hamilton, we can learn his life story through song and re-enactments.
