Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking was originally given two years left to live by doctors when they diagnosed him with ALS whiich meant that his body was slowly shutting down but he ended up living for another 55 years with the disease. During those years, he wrote theories about the universe and came up with Hawking radiation inwhich a tiny bit of light is escaping form black holes. Not even the loss of his voice stopped him when he got a new one which had a robotic drawl and an American accent. Although he died in 2018 of the disease, his theories and contributions to science live on.
