Harald Fairhair, a man of Norse and Scandinavian history.
He fulfilled his father's hopes of unifying small kingdoms to create Norway. It was only after the Battle of Hafrsfjord near Stavender in 872 that he became the sole king of a unified Norway. The First King of all Norway! He ruled from 872 to 930. The character of Harald Finehair in the historical drama Vikings is based on him.
